Rochester native, Geechy Guy (Michael Cathers), is best known for cerebral one-line "joke grenades" which he throws out into the audience typically evoking a delayed response of hilarious laughter. At one time, he held the Guinness World Record for most jokes told in one hour with 676 jokes. He has competed on Ed McMahon's Star Search where he made ten straight appearances once besting Ray Romano. He finished in the top forty-eight competitors in season 6 of America's Got Talent.
