Improvisation (Ages 5 - 9)

September 23 – October 28 (6 classes)
Improvisation, or "improv", is spontaneous theater. We make it up as we go along! In this class, we'll throw away the scripts, and engage in exercises and games that will stimulate imagination, encourage playfulness, instill confidence, and sharpen collaboration and ensemble-building skills. No previous experience is necessary. $65

Youth Audio Play: The Legend of Sleep Hollow (Ages 5-11)

October 3 – October 19 (6 sessions)
The Legend of Sleepy Hollow is Washington Irving’s 1820 tale of a headless horseman who terrorizes the village of Sleepy Hollow. The story is considered one of America’s first ghost stories—and one of its scariest. This audio play will be recorded and uploaded onto The PIX website and social media to share with friends and family to give them the chills just in time for Halloween There is no memorization required to participate. Students must have access to a device with Zoom and a reliable internet connection. This is a virtual program, and will not be taught at The PIX.
Youth Audio Play: The Vengeful Corpse (Ages 12-18)

First broadcast on September 12, 1949 as an Inner Sanctum Mystery, this spooky tale of ghostly revenge is sure to send shivers down your spine! It’s the story of a woman burned for being a witch who returns from the grave in a strange form to seek vengeance. This audio play will be recorded and uploaded onto The PIX website and social media to share with friends and family to give them the chills just in time for Halloween There is no memorization required to participate. Students must have access to a device with Zoom and a reliable internet connection. This is a virtual program, and will not be taught at The PIX.
