Former Lapeer West graduate, Kelli, returns to the Pix Theatre with Americana duo, Swearingen & Kelli, after releasing a new album with Grammy Award-winning producer Mitch Dane (Nashville).
Bridging the gap between '70s folk singers and country rebels, Swearingen & Kelli croon about addiction, endurance, and getting things right the second time around on their third release, Cold-Hearted Truth. The new album, recorded in a series of live takes, has been featured on Cowboys and Indians, Americana Highways and Red Line Roots who said "they’ve made something all their own with their own signature approach, and it’s one that others would do well to emulate down the road."Their show at THE PIX will include covers of songs made famous by Simon and Garfunkel, Johnny Cash, and Jim Croce.
