Fall is in the air and Oktoberfest, the Center for the Arts fourth annual celebration of the harvest season, is on tap along with live music, beer, brats and more. The festival begins at 4:30pm with authentic Bavarian music from Steve Drzewicki Band. At 6:30pm, Immigrant Sons will take the stage.Thesefour offspring of German and Italian immigrants bring a lively mix of traditional European and contemporary American music and vocals guaranteed to have everyone dancing in the street. The Sons perform regularly at Oktoberfests and German events throughout south-eastern Michigan. At 8:30pm on Saturday evening, The Polish Muslims will be back for the fourth year with their zany brand of pop and rock classics set to a polka beat. The Muslims have managed to blaze a trail of sold out shows, radio and TV appearances and dozens of outdoor summer concerts, all without taking themselves too seriously.
